Dear Parents,

Summer Work and Travel is based on the exchange visitor program which is carried out pursuant to the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961, as amended. Before it landed in China, it has successfully operated for 40 years in Europe and Asia. Hundreds and Thousands student spend their summer holiday in US.

All participants will work in a pure English environment which help improve their English skill. It is not like studying English in a class. Students will communicate with native speakers and students from all around the world. Also, this is the first step for students’ career. Every year, Hundreds thousand graduates seek for jobs. Many students do get good score in exam, but they don’t have oversea work experience. According to HR agency ‘s research, employer prefer to hire students who get international exchange background.

The program gives Chinese student a chance to enjoy a summer like other country’s students- travel abroad. Many students do not have anything meaningful or useful to do during the summer time. Compared to chatting on the internet, watching movies, W&T will brings the students more fun.

Summer Work and Travel USA is supervised by US government. All university students can apply. The participant will enter in US with J-1 visa and work as a legal tax-payer.

IEC introduces this program to help well-educated students to become exchange intern and get oversea work experience to enrich social practice. In the global environment, students get more work experience and become more confident.

IEC will sign contract with students to offer them all documents which are needed when apply for US Visa, and also students will be provided with assistance and instruction.
