To be eligible for this program, applicant must be:

A full-time college or university student

According to the purposed law of US department of state, all applicants should be full-time students including post graduates. The program requires proof of active student status for the duration of the program.

Between ages 18 and 28

Independent and flexible

Independence, being positive and ready to adapt to new environment, optimistim are important selection criteria.

Proficient in English (Oral English Interview required)

Applicants should live and work in US for 8-16 weeks, so IEC will interview the students to make sure every participants’ language skills reach the request of living and working in US

Physically and mentally healthy and willing to meet challenge

Applicants should be healthy both physically and mentally, easy-going, optimistic and like communicating with others.

Hard-working and responsible:

Participants will work with students from different countries, and IEC hopes every participant can work hard and responsibly to show Chinese university students’ advantages.

Something that you might not know: not only Chinese students including students from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao, but also those foreign students who are now studying at Chinese universities have the qualification for the application. We are expecting you to join!
