The Summer Work&Travel Program is one of the most popular exchange programs among university students all over the world, and is authorized by US Department of State. Designed to promote cultural exchange, it is attracting university students to the US for two to four months of independent life, and legal work in: restaurants, hotels, amusement parks, shops, etc. Thousands of university students participate in this program every year.

The International Exchange Center was established in 1989. It has become the biggest agency operating W&T in Europe with about 105 branches in 15 countries. In the past 20 years, over 140 000 university students became participants of this program with the help from IEC. International Exchange Center is working together with InterExchange, a non-profit organization, that has been a designated sponsor of the program for more than 30 years.

Going to the US in the summer is much easier than you thought! Applicants can fly to the US on any day from June 15th and to August 1st. Before flying, the US Sponsor (InterExchange) will provide the applicants with a DS2019 form. The minimum salary is 7.25 USD per hour with the average salary being 8-10 USD per hour. IEC is popular with students because we provide industry excellence and personal support. IEC also hopes to help Chinese students via the international operative experience. When students arrive in the US, they can still enjoy IEC support throughout the program. Work and Travel USA Program helps university students improve their oral English as well as strengthen their interpersonal and communication skills, and allows an independent lifestyle. This program gives young students a chance to make friends with exposure to a multicultural environment.
